Amazed
Imagine if you will 300+ kids with no tvs, no cell phones, no facebook, no distractions, just them and counselors and staff who love them giving it all up to God for a week. Worshiping without caring what people think about them, breaking down barriers that have held them back for so long and giving their lives up to the one and only savior Jesus Christ.
That is what I got to experience this week, To say it was an amazing experience is an understatement. This was my 8th year at camp so I’ve experienced it all before, being the camper, being the counselor, and then being on staff just there to help out. Something about camp this year was different, I have never seen the kids care about each other as much as they did this year.
Just sitting behind the sound board at night watching these kids give it all up is such an amazing experience and can’t really be put into words.
There is a revival coming, and it was started this year with these kids at camp. I feel so blessed to have been a part of it and am looking forward to see what God has in plan.
