Friends
I was reading my friend Joel Bickfords blog (http://joelbickford.tumblr.com/) earlier tonight about his best friend and a friend of mine Ben Newburn. And it got me thinking about all my friends and how much I am blessed to have such talented and awesome friends.
Anytime I am starting to feel down about what I have going on in my life I look to my friends for motivation, whether it’s Ben listening to a call from god and completely uprooting his life and moving to Australia to attend Hillsong, or Joel listening to a calling from God and moving to Omaha to do an internship there, or my newer friends Ty and Trey from the Icarus Account living their dreams and touring the country playing their music. And it doesn’t stop there, Simon and Matt doing their things leading worship at churches and Doug being a Youth Pastor. Others attending college to pursue what they are being called to do and the list goes on.
The point of this blog isn’t to try to brag about my friends or anything of that nature, The point is to let my friends know how much I truly appreciate them and look up to them. They inspire me to follow my passions and to listen to my calling from God. I know I’m not very good at expressing feelings in person, its something I’m working on but I just want to let all my friends out there know how much I do truly care about you and love you all.
